Animals have played a crucial role this year more than ever before. Throughout the months of lockdown and with so many of us swapping the office for our living rooms and kitchens alongside our four-legged friends, their undivided love and devotion has been so essential for those who have struggled during the health pandemic. During the early lockdown days and weeks, the only daily trip outside was to walk the dog for fresh air and to reconnect with the world around us. Zoom calls with colleagues often became a hysterical episode of ‘You’ve been Framed’ with dogs and cats jumping into our arms, or by causing mayhem just out of screen. Our furry companions are the biggest success story of 2020 for the incredibly important role they have played during times of increased social loneliness. To celebrate our pets we are asking you to share a photo of your beloved pet next to your Christmas tree, of them wearing festive hats and jumpers, or just a photo of your much loved pet, as we look forward to a more humble festive season and a COVID-19 free year in 2021. Post a photo of your pawsome festive pet on our Facebook or Twitter page with the hashtag #FestivePets @TheMindsWell
