On Tuesday 1 December (10:00 - 12:00), The Mind’s Well will host a virtual gathering via zoom for everyone involved with the organisation from service users to staff, to take part in an open discussion about individual experiences of accessing health and mental health services throughout Scotland.
The event is part of a series of virtual gatherings taking place online across the sector this autumn to support the work of The Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland. The national engagement activity aims to support the future remobilisation of health and social care services in Scotland, following the ongoing effects of the Coronavirus pandemic.
COVID-19 has tested Scotland’s public services like never before, but it also presents an opportunity to redesign services with citizens and what matters to them at the heart. This series of open conversation seeks to engage in a dialogue about the future of health and care in Scotland and to co-produce practical proposals for creating services fit for 2021 and beyond.
Maria Naranjo, Founder and CEO of The Mind’s Well, said: “This virtual gathering is so important to support the future re-design of health and social care services in Scotland. We are hoping that as many people as possible in our community will join us on 1 December via Zoom for an open conversation about current services and if there have been issues with accessing support and appointments during the current health crisis. We want to do our bit for the sector in it’s re-design to ensure that everyone can access the services they require without falling through any gaps. I look forward to hearing from everyone on the day.”
